The purpose of this data protection declaration is to provide the user with information on the manner, purpose, rights, timing and nature of the information that the data controller must provide to the user (data subject) when connecting to our web pages, in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation. It is explained to the user which data are processed by us when accessing this website.

1. WHO IS THE DATA CONTROLLER/COLLECTOR OF PERSONAL DATA?
As a preliminary point, the data controller is the private individual who, individually or jointly with others, determines the purpose and means of the processing.

This website makes use of LogFiles in which information collected automatically during user visits is stored. In particular, this data is primarily required to make the use of our content possible (creation of the link, as well as for internal system-related purposes such as technical administration and system security).

In any case, the criterion used to determine the storage period is based on the respect of the terms allowed by the applicable laws and by the principles of minimization of processing and limitation of storage, without prejudice to the possibility for DOS Group SA to store personal data for a maximum of 10 years from the moment the relationship is terminated.

By entering a comment or other information, the user expressly accepts the privacy policy. The data received will be used exclusively for the provision of the service requested and only for the time necessary to provide the service.

6. USER RIGHTS

RIGHT OF ACCESS AND INFORMATION

– to know the purpose of the processing, to delete them, to restrict their processing, to object to their processing and to appeal to a supervisory authority (IFDP), unless exceptions are provided for by law. Insofar as the law authorises or requires it, certain requests may in fact be refused. Therefore, DOS Group SA reserves the right to retain personal data or continue to process them in another way, despite a request from the customer to delete or limit the processing of data.

These rights may be exercised by written request to be sent to the address of the registered office of DOS Group addressed to the attention of the data controller, Via Rime 38, 6850 Mendrisio, Mr. Stefano Doninelli.

In any case, DOS Group SA undertakes to process and guarantee the customer’s data in accordance with the law.

7. LEVEL OF SECURITY OF USER DATA

The data collected and stored are treated confidentially and through technical and organisational precautions, protected against loss and manipulation, as well as against unauthorised access by third parties.

Access information exchanged between the user’s computer and our systems is encrypted. We accept no responsibility for any unauthorised access or loss of personal information beyond our control.

The website may contain links to other websites outside our control, which are not governed by this data protection declaration. If you access other sites using the links provided, the operators of those sites may collect personal information and use it in accordance with the terms of their own privacy policy, which may differ from this privacy statement.

8. VIDEO SURVEILLANCE

The company, in order to guarantee and protect the safety of its customers, its employees and itself (e.g. to prevent theft and vandalism) is equipped with an external (car park) and internal (limited to monitoring the entrance/exit of the company) video surveillance system.

The video-surveillance system, duly signposted, is closed circuit and footage is stored for a limited period of 7 days. Access/viewing of the video surveillance system is restricted to the owners only.

From time to time, this data protection declaration may be changed, e.g. in the event of further development of our website or changes in legislation.
