A constant growth, the fil rouge of DOS Group
Since the early days after its foundation in 2001, DOS Group has distinguished itself for its innovative drive and strong desire for growth, which have guided it in every single choice for over 20 years.
From marketing strategy to constant updating of business models, DOS Group has seized many of the major growth opportunities, knowing how to measure through qualitative and quantitative KPIs the various objectives and correcting the course, if necessary.
Management’s ability to convey company goals to employees has allowed the creation of a common goal, where business growth is also experienced as the success of each individual person. The mainly flat hierarchical structure undoubtedly facilitates the flow of information in all directions.
DOS Group, in fact, is part of that category of company that has always ensured that its employees are the top priority, encouraging personal and professional growth. This is undoubtedly the first and strongest driver of growth and expansion, as the constant improvement of internal skills, is a competitive factor in the market and highly appreciated by customers.
Always growing
In order to grow, we focus first of all on people. We are convinced that different skills open new important horizons and for this reason we are always looking for talents.
This month, we welcome Gianluca Rizzardi and Michael Marini, who will be respectively IT Manager and Jr. System Engineer.
During my professional activity I’ve had the opportunity to deepen many aspects of the IT world, starting from experiences as a help desk and system support technician, up to commercial and business development activities, supporting companies in defining strategies and designs of IT projects/solutions with technologies of multiple Hardware and Software vendors. The key aspects are the relationships that are created with individual professionals. Listening and having the opportunity to work alongside companies with ideas and needs, giving my contribution to define together with them the most appropriate solutions from a technological point of view, but also trying to bring innovation and value to the business.
I studied as a “higher technician for networking” where I was able to learn the basics of networking and virtualization. In Reti Spa, I got to know various business realities, such as Walt Disney Company Italia, where I was included in the support team for the users of Italy, Turkey and Greece. At the same time I have been part of the internal management and support team for various customers, heterogeneous realities of the Italian corporate landscape (and not), with tasks of monitoring systems and services, problem solving and evolutionary changes. For the last year and a half I’ve been an integral part of a team assigned to the management of the virtual infrastructure of Aviva Assicurazioni Italia (about 300 servers), where in addition to monitoring services & production systems, and troubleshooting, I supported the various application development teams of the customer.
